Burger King found its spiritual home when the doors of the first Irish store opened in Grafton Street in 1981. The Irish people at the time were gripped in recession but with the coming of the worlds best Burger Joint a new era of optimism began.

Today there are 34 Burger King Restaurants in every corner of Ireland with a staff count of over 900 people meaning that Burger King Ireland is now an empire in its own right!

Adding the Burger King Concept to delicious Irish Beef, the result is as expected….Absolutely Delicious!!

About Grafton Street

Grafton Street was named after Henry FitzRoy, The 1st Duke of Grafton, he was the illegitimate son of Charles II of England who owned land in the area and was developed from a country lane by the Dawson family in 1708, after whom the parallel Dawson Street is named.

Grafton Street runs from the top of St. Stephen's Green to (Trinity) College Green.
