Richard Alan has enjoyed a high profile position on Ireland’s number one shopping street for 76 years. The shop originally opened its doors in 1935 and was taken over by the Barron family in the year 2000.

The new lower ground floor location for Richard Alan at Pamela Scott is launching several new and exclusive brands to Ireland such as Jessica Simpson, Goat, Cathy Hilton and Essential Antwerp alongside existing favorites such as Escada and Marc Cain.

There is also a 2,000 sq foot Jaeger department carrying all of the Jaeger collections.

About Grafton Street

Grafton Street was named after Henry FitzRoy, The 1st Duke of Grafton, he was the illegitimate son of Charles II of England who owned land in the area and was developed from a country lane by the Dawson family in 1708, after whom the parallel Dawson Street is named.

Grafton Street runs from the top of St. Stephen's Green to (Trinity) College Green.
